Freya Bromley is a writer living in London. Her work explores love, loss and the restorative power of nature. She writes for titles including Lonely Planet, Condé Nast Traveller, Financial Times and National Geographic Traveller.
Freya’s first book The Tidal Year was shortlisted for the Nero Book Awards 2023. She’s appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live, spoken at bookshops around the UK and given talks for Cambridge University, Granta, Good Grief Festival and more.
Beyond the page, Freya has worked at Apple for over eight years.
